India vs Sri Lanka: Who will be the winner?

India vs Sri LankaIn the first ODI of Tri-Series, India lost against Zimbabwe with six wickets. Indian batsmen were quite good whereas bowlers could not perform well.

Indian captain, Suresh Raina won the toss and choose bat first. Rohit Sharma and Ravindra Jadeja scored 114 and 61 runs and they stood as strong pillars for the team India.

Zimbabwe batsman started attacking Indian bowlers from the beginning. Indian bowlers couldn’t control the Zimbabwe batsman. Finally, they achieved the 289 runs target in the 49th over with loss of four wickets. India is facing up Sri Lanka in the second match of the tournament. (more…)

No match fixings in Indian Premier League Season 3

Paul CondonIndian Premier League is in trouble at the end of the season 3 due to scams and match fixing allegations. A big scam happened in the Indian Premier League about introducing the some new teams.

Many big people were invovlved in this scam and one central minister was also resigned regarding this issue. Former Indian Premier League Chairman, Lalit Modi was also resigned. Lalit Modi himself revealed the details regarding the scam and invovlment of central minsiter. BCCI asked the resignation of Lalit Modi and appointed Mr.Chirayu amin as a interim chairman of IPL.

At the same time, Match fixing allegations were also exposed out. International Cricket Council Anti-Corruption chief Paul Condon said that he had no evidence about any match fixing allegations in the third edition of the Indian Premier League. (more…)

MS Dhoni Sacks from Indian Captaincy?

MS DhoniMS Dhoni is a very well known player in the Indian Cricket and had a safe place in every Indian’s heart.

MS Dhoni became Indian Cricket team captain for the first ICC World Twenty20 in the year 2007 and he was the reason for team India to acquire a title ‘World Champions’ in Twenty20. After that, he has taken the responsibilities of the Indian One-Day International team and test Cricket captaincy.

MS Dhoni succeeded in both the formats as a captain and played an important role in the Indian team victories. He was great till then and later Dhoni failed which resulted the early exit of 2009 ICC World Twenty20. (more…)

Deccan Chargers can defend IPL Title

cricketDeccan Chargers captain Adam Gilchrist is very confident that his team can defend the IPL title and prepared completely to continue the same performance in the third edition of the Indian Premier League as well.

“The team could not win the inaugural IPL due to some mistakes but it rectified them to win the second edition the high-profile tournament held in South Africa,” he told.

Adam Gilchrist and all his team mates were in Hyderabad for the third edition of the Indian Premier League. All the Deccan Chargers players are seriously practicing in their training sessions to defend IPL title. This team didnt won any matches in their home ground.
