India vs Australia Day 2 Score: Australia: 333, and India: 214/3

On Day 2, Australia has started the innings at 277/6 but lost the rest of the wickets Brad Haddin (27), Peter Siddle (41), Ben Hilfenhaus (19) and Nathan Lyon (6) for just 56 runs.

In the first innings, Australia lost their ten wickets for 333 runs in 110 overs. Kangaroo batsmens Ed Cown (68), former captain Ricky Ponting (62) played a key role in the first innings. Indian bowlers Zaheer Khan has taken four wickets while Umesh Yadav and Ravi Chandran Ashwin have got three wickets each.

India has lost their first wicket in the form of Gautam Gambhir (3) at 22 runs in 7.5 over. Indian dashing opener Sehwag has got some support from senior player Rahul Dravid. Sehwag (67) lost his wicket to James Pattinson at 97 runs in 28.2 over. Later, Sachin, who is desperately looking to finish his hundredth test ton since this July, seemed confident that he will achieve his hundredth test hundred but disappointed 100 crore people by loosing his wicket to Peter Siddle at his 73 runs. The expectations rose after finishing his half century.

Umpires stopped the Day 2 play at India 214/3. Indian players Rahul Dravid (68) and Ishant Sharma (0) are on the crease.
