Team Reports:

Indian batsman started attacking from the beginning of the innings over South African bowlers. After the early wickets of Vijay and Gotham Gambhir, Sehwag and Tendulkar put an Indian innings a lead and punishing the South African bowlers in their way.

But JP Duminy, broke a 249-run partnership of Sachin Tendulkar and Verinder Sehwag by dismissing Sehwag at 165.

Sachin Tendulkar filed his 47th Test century, as both Sachin and Sehwag became the reason for a positive mark against South Africa.

This was Sachin’s consecutive fourth hundred in the last four Test Matches. Sehwag also hit his 19th test century and Indian’s reached 232/2 at tea.

Bad light stops play on day 2. After tea-session, Sehwag and Tendulkar were seemingly taking India to a strong position when Sehwag fell to Duminy. It all began to unpick for India then.

Tendulkar followed as Harris finally went round the stumps and Badrinath was exposed by Steyn. And they almost had Laxman too. By the end of the day 2, India scored 342/5.
