India lost his glory after the world cup victory. They’ve been performing well only at home but when they come to outside they are not showing the world champions game. India has lost their first three test matches in the Australia series and about to loose fourth test as well.
World Cup winners, India has registered victories against England and West Indies after the World Cup. Before Australia tour, India visited England and lost all test matches and ODI’s. India took the revenge against England when they visit India. It seems that India will defeat any team only at home.
Though India has top class batsmen’s they’re unable to show the talent. Indian young gun Virat Kohli only managed to finish his debut century in tests. What happened to senior most master blaster Sachin Tendulkar? Crores of people across the world have been looking for sachin’s 100th century. He is disappointing every time and he lost the better opportunity in the earlier tests.
When it comes to Australia Series, India has failed in all formats and did not try to dominate even in a single test match against Australia in this series. Indian batsman surrendered to Australian bowlers since the beginning. Only few bowlers from India performing well. Senior players like Sachin, VVS Laxman and Rahul Dravid failed to perform as per the expectations. Current Indian test captain, Virender Sehwag has scored couple of half centuries so far in this series.
Here we have to discuss few things about stylish batsmen Laxman. Laxman is the most dangerous for Australian; he is the only one who will face Australian bowlers easily. He has scored most of his centuries against former world champions. Laxman performed well in England series and every one hoped he will assist the India during their Australia series but he also lifted hands.
In the final test, Australia won the toss and elected to bat first. Australia declared their first innings at 604/7. Australian players Ricky Ponting (221) and Michael Clarke (210) finished their double centuries. Indian bowler Ravichandran Ashwin has taken three wickets and Zaheer Khan has got two wickets and Umesh Yadav took one. India started their first innings with huge hopes but lost all ten wickets at 272. Indian player Virat Kohli (116) finished his first test century and played a major role t reach 272 runs. In the second innings, Australia declared at 167/5. Indian captain Sehwag started the innings aggressively and scored 62 runs in just 53 balls. By the end of the fourth day, India lost six wickets for 166 runs and the final test may end before the lunch session of final day.
