Indian Middle order batsmen, Rohit Sharma is well prepared and is ready to make a debut in second test against Australia at Sydney.
Sharma on Sunday while speaking with the sources has said that, he is ready to replace Virat Kohli in the second test against Australia on Tuesday, January, 3, 2012 in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
The second test between India vs Australia will being on Tuesday. However, as Kohli could not prove himself in the first test at MCG by just 11 & 3 runs would be sidelined, as India wants to give chances to best players in the squad. If, Kohil gets rested, it would be Rohit Sharma chance to make his test debut at the 100 test at Sydney.
24-year-old Mumbai batsman while speaking with the sources has said that, they have not yet finalized their playing XI for the New Year Test, however he did opine that out of form Kohli is under pressure after failing to score during the 122-run defeat in the series opener at Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG).
As far as the team combination is concerned, we have not decided anything yet, said Sharma speaking to the media reporters after an intense practice session at SCG on Sunday. Tomorrow we will have a better idea as to what the wicket will be like. I will also be told whether I am playing or not, he further added.
