Australian batting coach, Justin Langer has appealed the Australian Batsmen to perform 100% and score confidently ahead of the test series against India and claimed that, that the national selectors cannot tolerate lean patches for long.
The Battling coach of Cricket Australia has watchful with the players, including Ricky Ponting, Michael Clarke, Michael Hussey, Brad Haddin, Dan Christian, Shane Watson and Shaun Marsh, who are attending the battling camp in Melbourne ahead of the first test against India.
Langer while speaking with the various sources has said that, You can do the physical and technical preparation but for me a lot of preparation for the opposition is a real mental thing. A lot of it has to do with strategy. It’s a mind game really. We know the Indian bowlers really well. We’ve just got to get our minds attuned to getting ready for what is to come.
He also added that, the recent batting collapses, we certainly don’t ever accept those, we need to get better. I think the wicket in Hobart was really green, and in Cape Town it was a lot different wicket than we’d generally play on. But I’d like to think that no one is panicking.
It could be an exciting 4-macthes test series for India with Australian already been in trouble being leveled the test series against South Africa and New Zealand, earlier last month.
