Bangladesh is in deep troubles, after they lost their five wickets, before they scored 100 runs on scoreboard, on the fourth day of the second test against Pakistan, being played at Shere Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
Bangladesh is staggering in its second innings, after they gave a promising performance in the first innings. Bangladesh lost their five wickets for 95 runs, after they started the second innings trailing by 132 runs, after Pakistan took the lead in their first innings. Tamim Iqbal was out for 21 runs off 19 balls with five fours, before he was caught by Misbah-Ul-Haq off Umar Gul when the score was 24. They lost their second wicket on the same score in the form of Shahriar Nafees, after got out leg before off Umar Gul in the very first ball he faced.
The third wicket was down at 54, after Nazimuddin was bowled by Abdur Rehman for 12 runs off 42 balls with 2 fours. He was followed by Mahmudulla who seemed comfortable, before he was caught by Rehman off Aizaz Cheema for 32 runs off 50 balls with 5 fours and a six. The first innings centurion Shakib Al Hassan was also sent to pavilion by Cheema after he was caught by Ali. He scored 6 runs of 16 balls with one four.
Before the second innings of Bangladesh, Pakistan took the lead of 132 runs in their first innings with good performance by the batsmen. Opener Taufeeq Umar was the top scorer with 130 runs off 256 balls with 16 fours. Captain Misbah played a responsible innings which facilitated the rest of the batsmen to cross the Bangladesh score of 338 in their first innings. Azhar Ali and Adnan Akmal score fifties while Younis Khan, who scored double hundred in the first test, was out for 49 runs from 122 balls with four boundaries. Shakib Al Hassan was the pick of the Bangladesh bowlers, as he tool 6 wickets for 82 runs from 40.5 overs with 7 maiden overs.
Bangladesh scored 114 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in 35 overs in their second innings at the stumps of fourth day and is trailing by 18 runs wit five wickets in hand. In order to save the test, the Bangladesh batsmen have to fight hard against the Pakistan bowlers. However, Pakistan seems the favorites of this test too just like the first Test.
