Bresnan Says, Unbelievable Year for England

Tim Bresnan the pacer of England feels that, the 5-0 ODI whitewash against India cannot take the shine off the spectacular rise of England in an unbelievable year. England is currently the number one team in Test and Twenty20 ICC rankings. Bresnan said that, to be top in two of the three formats is quiet an achievement.

The right arm pacer Bresnan said that, they are in a bad place, after being the number one in two of the three formats of the cricket and especially being the top in Test Cricket is like a pinnacle. He added that, the year has been fantastic, after seeing the way they have played and insisted that, they are still working to improve and get the results. England managed to end the tour with a win, after beating India in lone Twenty20 international with six wickets.

Bresnan further said that, England had a memorable year clinching the Ashes and whitewashing India in all the formats of the game, during the India tour of England. The 5-0 whitewash loss to India in India in ODI series this month was the lone disappointment for England. He described the winning of Ashes and achieving number one Test rank and winning ICC World Test Championship are the most cherished moments of the year. He added that, it’s a hard task to single out one thing, after having a lot of good times and insisted that, it has been an unbelievable year for England.
