The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has announced a hectic 2012 summer schedule for England, who plays six tests and 13 One-Day Internationals and four Twenty20 international matches. They will play all the above mentioned games against West Indies, Australia and South Africa. All the series will be played by England at their home.
After having a successful summer this year, England will start of its international season with a three-test series against the West Indies, which will be followed by three One-Day internationals and one Twenty20 international match. After playing against West Indies, they will play five One-Day internationals against Australia and will take on South Africa in three tests, five ODIs and three Twenty20 games.
West Indies will play their three tests against England at Lords’, Trent Bridge and Edgbaston, while three ODIs will be played at Rose Bowl, The Oval and Headingley and lone Twenty20 will be played at Trent Bridge. Australia will face England in five ODIs at Lords, The Oval, Edgbaston, Chester-le-Street and Old Trafford. England will also play one ODI against Scotland. South Africa will play their three tests at The Oval, Headingley and Lords, while the five ODIs will be played at Cardiff, Rose Bowl, The Oval, Lords and Trent Bridge and T20s will be played at Chester-le-Street, Old Trafford and Edgbaston.
