Shahid Afridi was fined 4.5 million rupees ($52,300) on June, 16 for violating the Pakistan Cricket Board’s code of conduct, but was eligibility to play abroad.
The PCB had suspended his central deal and revoked his NOC, stopping him from playing for Hampshire in the English county Twenty20 tournaments.
Pakistan Cricket Board legal adviser Taffazul Rizvi makes known the judgment of the committee on Thursday June, 16 and told Afridi has accepted the decision.
Taffazul Rizvi told Afridi had ‘appealed guilty and did not want to contest.’
Shahid Afridi also told that, he is in ‘no mood to play international cricket’ and is fixed with his decision to stop playing cricket.
Last month, Afridi retired in dispute after he was removed from the ODI captaincy and violated the code of conduct by criticizing top officials of the Pakistan Cricket Board’s.
Afridi challenged the Pakistan Cricket Board’s disciplinary measures in the Sindh High Court, but apparently both Butt and Afridi were convinced by politicians to agree an out of court resolution.
Afridi finally withdrew his petition on Wednesday and a day later, he come out before a three-member penal committee, which was assisted by Taffazul.
Former test opening batsman Mudassar Nazar told that, he was anticipating a fine for Afridi after the all rounder met Butt on Tuesday. But, he said Pakistani politicians must not interfere in the administrative matters of the cricket board.
