Finding a Semis world cup 2011 exit seems Paksitan skipper, Shahid Afridi is eyeing on improving inter personal relations between his come country and one of the world cup hosts, India.
Afridi, who recently had made comments on Indian crowd for not receiving them well during Mohali’s semi final clash between India and Pakistan; seems now seeking the Indian Premier League to add his players too in the league for the reason as he states to improve relations.
IPL running its fourth successive season, has barred the Pakistan players since the second season especially after the Mumbai terror attacks to make sure the flamboyant event shouldn’t get effected by such kind of unwanted conditions.
Now in this season, too the franchisees bought players from all around the world but didn’t even thought of getting from Pakistan.
Now, the skipper is making statements that IPL should select players from his side too. However, he denies the fact that even he is interested in playing IPL. He says it is nothing to say that I am interested to play but to give a chance for younger players who are enthused enough to make it big in the continental.
He says, as the players played during semis very comfortably, now they are looking for more such kind of games between both the countries especially to make sure the relations keep getting stronger day by day.
More over, we have seen nothing wrong in Afridi’s effort of making two nations come together for more times.
