Australia won by 9 wickets with 24 overs to spare and lead the three match series with 2-0. Shane Watson ruthless innings of 185 off just 96 balls sealed series win over Bangladesh with still one match remaining in the series.
Bangladesh won the toss and decided to bat first. Tamim Iqbal (5) and Imrul Kayes (5) have started the innings for Bangladesh and it was not Tamim show that began as both the openers were went back to pavilion by Mitchell Johnson. Bangladesh has suffered consistent fall of wickets Shahriar Nafees, who scored 56 was the only top order batsmen to reach double figures.
Mushfiqur Rahim and Mahmudullah has rescued the innings by adding 79 runs for sixth wicket, Mahmudullah (38) was dismissed by Watson. Mushfiqur Rahim (81)* played a brilliant knock and guided Bangladesh to reach 220 runs.

Watson finished his innings at 185* includes 15 fours and 15 sixes. Watson breaks the previous record of Xavier Marshal who hit the highest number 12 sixes in an innings. Shane Watson is now the highest scorer for Australia with 185* beating Mathew Hayden’s 181*.
Bangladesh bowlers were demolished to all parts of the ground by one batsmen of Australia and their bowling figures were destroyed by his cruel hitting. Suhrawadi Shuvo, Shafiul Islam, Rubel Hossain were in the firing line of Watson. Shakib-al-Hasan is the only wicket taker from Bangladesh.
Shane Watson wad adjudged the Man of the Match for his brilliant knock of 185* in 96 balls.
