Shane Warne Refuses Gossips Of Coaching Team India

Shane Warne, Australian Former player and spin legend denied media reports, that Warne is interested in coaching Team India following their World Cup triumph.

Someone in the media has reported that Warne raised his hand to coach India. He was wondered to hear and tweeted that ‘sorry to disappoint but I never stated that’. Shane Warne is the finest spinners that Australia has ever produced and played a crucial role in Aussie wins.

The 41-year-old Shane Warne represents Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League; he is the skipper and coach of RR in IPL for last three seasons and continuing his services in this edition too. Warne was in India for his fourth season of IPL 2011. Earlier, local media reports said that Warne is interested in the job.

Presently, Indian cricket team is without coach as Gary Kristen stepped down from the job after the World Cup win. Gray has been classic player for South Africa and served India much better with his coaching skills. Gray has set high standards for the players of Team India in his three-year stretch, those raise in standards guide to World Cup triumph.

Warne said that Gary Kristen is a quality person and it would be hard to find right replacement for him. Under Gray Team India has conquered long waited World Championship and they are the No.1 Test team, he is a fantastic coach.

Shane Warne has retired as international cricketer in the year 2007; he is the leading wicket taker for Australia in Tests with 708 wickets and 293 wickets in ODI’s. Shane Warne plays a dual role of coach and captain for Rajasthan Royals in IPL. Rajasthan Royals were the winners of first season of Indian Premier League under his leadership.
