Young Mumbai player, Ajinkya Rahane scored a century in the Board President’s XI Warm-Up match against Australia at Chandigarh’s Sector 16 stadium on Tuesday.
Australia has scored 505 runs for the loss of all wickets in their first innings. Indian Board President’s XI has scored 177 runs for the loss of all wickets in their first innings. Australia declared their second innings at 187/6. Finally, India Board President’s XI scored 174 with out loss of a wicket in their second innings.
In the first innings, the India Board President’s XI players were failed to bat, but in the second innings, Ajinkya Rahane (113 not out) and Cheteshwar Pujara (52 not out) played a key innings in the draw and they both have made 165 runs partnership after Shikhar Dhawan retired hurt.
Australian team started this game brilliantly and they played well in the first two days in last day Rahane and Cheteshwar Pujara pulled them back in the final two sessions of the three-day game.
