Former Australian captain, Steve Waugh said the recent spot-fixing scandal is “unfortunate”, young cricketers are tempting for easy money.
He said, “We need to take appropriate measures of spot-fixing. These days, a lot of youngsters are playing cricket. They are getting tempt to making easy and fast money by the bookies”.
Steve Waugh added that the ICC must adopt some strong measures to prevent match-fixings, but the recent match-fixing is really unfortunate.
During Lord’s Test, Pakistani bowlers, Mohammad Aamer and Mohammad allegedly bowled three no-balls after taking bribes from a bookie.
