Injuries plagued Australian bowler, Shaun Tait has no regrets about his decision to play limited overs cricket, insists he has more time to enjoy his game.
27-year-old, Shaun Tait has concentrated all its efforts in recent Twenty20 and 50-over games – and the rewards have already started to come through.
Tait, currently in South Africa prepares show for South Australia in the Twenty20 Champions League, said: “I have not played a four-day match or a Test for some years now, and it paid dividends for my body”.
The Adelaide born paceman recently made history when it sent down a delivery that registered at 161.1kph (100.1mph) for Australia against England at Lord’s – the second fastest delivery of all time.
Surprisingly, it has never been a step in South Africa and is relishing the prospect.
