New Zealand fast bowler, Shane Bond who retired form the cricket in all formats in may. He has joined Central Districts coaching staff.
Bond is assistant coach to Alan Hunt and he is mainly focusing on the Champions League Twenty20 tournament starting in South Africa next week.
Central Districts will face Indian Premier League champions, Chennai Super Kings in their first match at Sahara Stadium Kingsmead in Durban on September 11.
Shane Bond played 18 test matches and 82 One Day Internationals in his career and he took 87 wickets in tests and 147 in ODI.
