We Need Special Efforts To Defeat India

Last day, Sri Lanka skipper, Kumar Sangakkara says that it would need special effort for his team to win fifth ODI match and get the final. The skipper admits that India has improved their performance despite of loosing several matches in this series.

In a pre-match press conference, Sangakkara says, “India have lifted themselves for the finals and they have outplayed us on many occasions. There have been questions asked about the toss. Whether, that was an advantage. I don’t think,”

The player says that his team will give their best effort to win the match against India. Earlier, in the month of June, India has defeated Sri Lanka in Asia Cup final. In the current series, India has lost against New Zealand by 200 runs and in the previous matches with India; Sri Lanka has won with 8 wickets against India.

But, history still favors India. Sangakkara reveals that his team has watched the India’s last match with New Zealand closely.
