Aussie women’s Cricket vice-captain, Kate Blackwell has announced her retirement from cricket. She contributes her skills of six National titles with NSW and 2005 Australia’s World Cup Victory.

Kate Blackwell played 76 National League games and 10 domestic Twenty20 games for the NSB. She started her national career in 2004 she played four test matches and 41 ODI and six Twenty20 International matches.

Kate Blackwell and his sister, Alex are the first set of twins to represent Australia in cricket. She is one of the five players in the Breakers’ five consecutive National titles since 2005-06 and she played a major role as vice-captain since 2006-07 in the NSW Success.

In last month, she played in the Middlesex; in this club she scored 256 runs in three matches with an average of 256 and 91.43.
