Australia Vs. Pakistan T20I Live Streaming

cricketAustralia Vs. Pakistan T20I Live Streaming

Finally Pakistan’s drawn out, controversial and currently win-less tour comes to an end. At the start of the summer they were a chance of challenging Australia in the Test series. Then they were determined to topple them with a band of reinforcements in the one-day series. After losing eight internationals in a row, this is the last opportunity to do something successful.

The good news is the tourists are the World Twenty20 champions after their triumph in England last year and they have won their past seven games in this genre.

However, they will be without their captain Shahid Afridi, who was so hungry in the final ODI in Perth that he chomped on the ball. After admitting to tampering, he will miss two Twenty20s before being allowed back. That leaves Shoaib Malik in charge as the third leader of the trip.

New Zealand Vs. Bangladesh 1st ODI Live Streaming

New Zealand’s freshly appointed coach Mark Greatbatch’s first move of his tenure was to select 31-year-old unknown Peter Ingram to open the innings against Bangladesh in this one-off Twenty20 international.

It is either going to be a masterstroke or a very short tenure.

To Ingram’s credit, the Central District’s opener is averaging 39.33 in his past seven Twenty20 games and let’s be honest, facing up to a Bangladesh attack is no more formidable then squaring up against his fellow countrymen in first-class cricket.

Will Every Team Tampers With Ball?

cricketShahid Afridi is not the only one who thinks that all teams tamper with the ball as Imran Khan and Rameez Raja feel the same.

Afridi, who has been banned for two Twenty20 matches for tampering with the ball in a one-dayer against Australia in Perth, has claimed that all teams try such tactics to exploit the conditions to their advantage.

Afridi: Every team tampers ball

Pakistan’s World Cup winning former captain Imran Khan and another ex-skipper Rameez Raja didn’t condone Afridi’s behaviour in gnawing into the ball.

Middlesex Eye Yuvraj After Tendulkar Talks Fail

cricketEnglish county side Middlesex have confirmed they are in talks to sign Yuvraj Singh as their second overseas player for this year’s Twenty20 Cup.

Middlesex were originally talking to Sachin Tendulkar, who turned down their offer to prolong his international career.

Yuvraj could further boost the batting strength of the county in the T20 format, after Adam Gilchrist confirmed in November.

A major stumbling block to negotiations with Yuvraj could be India’s unconfirmed international schedule.

Taylor Named New Zealand Vice-captain

cricketRoss Taylor has been appointed NZ vice-captain for the series against Bangladesh and Australia.

The Black Caps have not had a vice-captain in place since Brendon McCullum was relieved of the position in October following the departure of Andy Moles.

But New Zealand Cricket general manager of cricket Geoff Allott insisted Taylor’s promotion did not mean McCullum had fallen down the leadership pecking order.
